we are a growing site with a lot of news and updates. here is where they will all be posted so you can know everything as soon as it happens.

after your character has been accepted, one of the admins will move it here, then separate it into the right category.

This is the ground floor, or entrance hall. When you walk into Rookwood this is the first place you'll see. In the center of the floor is a sort of lobby/lounge area. On this floor are two classrooms, the banquet hall, the first floor of the student lounge, the detention room, and the caretaker's quarters.

This floor is mostly dedicated to the ladies of Rookwood. Here you will find all the female dorms (101-111). There is also the girl's community restroom. Oh and look! There's the second level of the Student Lounge! And we definitely can't forget the amazing Art Classroom now can we?

This floor is home to our psychotic and flamboyant art and drama teacher Arthur (aka Art). This is also home to gentlemen of Rookwood, dorms 112-121, and the third floor student lounge mostly occupied by the boys who dwell there.

The fourth floor is home to the wonderful Ms. Robyn, our librarian, and the third biggest library in the world. on this floor you can read until your heart's content, or study for tomorrows quiz! there are six study rooms available, with a max of five people per room at a time. there is also a reading area with nice comfortable arm chairs. bookcases also line the walls! can you believe how many books there are to choose from? but remember, Fred the Malicious Library Mouse roams here and will bite off a finger if you even dare to dog-ear the books.

The Fifth Floor is reserved especially for the teachers. Think of it as the Teacher's Lounge. Many things preside on this floor, but alas, it's password protected and no students allowed.

The West Tower's first floor is the Infirmary. Need some healing? Come see Nurse Aelphaba. Above the infirmary, on the second floor of the West Tower is the nurse's private quarters.

The East Tower is the home our English classes! Time to learn about Haikus, grammar, and punctuation! How fun!

There is a classroom up there... oh, it's the History Classroom! Welcome to the wonderful world of our past.

The Courtyard is situation on the roof of the castle. Here it's peaceful, there are lush trees and stone benches ornately decorated with swirls and peaceful elemental designs. There is a pond with Koi and a fountain of a chess rook. Flowers and other plants sprinkle the beautiful green, lush grass cover almost every inch of the courtyard.

People have pets and of course unless the pet is house trained or small it has to stay outside. This is the animal grounds. It has it's very own miniature lake for anything that can swim but wont be kept in a bowl. It has a sort of barn for bigger animals, but nothing bigger than a car will be accepted on the school grounds. A kennel is found in the barn in case students want to lock up their pets.

the pitch is the stadiuma nd athletic field. it has stand all around as well as a retractable ceiling that helps out when there are balls and banquets held there.

Trees flowers ponds and rocky paths lace the huge garden area that takes up nearly as much room as the school itself. There is a white gazeebo at it's core that overlooks flowers, a pond, and is hidden by weeping willows.

the greenhouse says everything. it's where the earth elementalists or any plant lovers can come to grow flowers or vegetables or fruits, test some of their herbological elements or just relax. at the end of the year everything grown in the greenhouse that is not dangerous is planted into the gardens. a vegetable garden is found right next to the greenhouses.

the woods of gale are filled with the most fascinating creatures, some say there are centaurs and others say they swear to have seen a unicorn. none of this has actually been proven though. students are allowed to wander the woods during daylight hours but when the sun sets, beware, you never know what might be lurking behind the trees. spooky.

queen pearl lake is named after Mister Knightvale's wife, Pearl, after her remains were found in the lake. students have the option of swimming in the lake, or taking a boat out from the pier.

old Mr. Kingston was the grounds keeper of rookwood academy for many years before his untimely death when a student's rogue fireball crashed into his house and the falling rubble killed him instantly.

bishop valley has a great array of shops for you to shop at including petopia, chayne, techno-us, & in-n-out mini mart. the locals are very friendly and will always help you get everything you need, so don't be shy, just stop on by.

here in bishop valley, people love to eat. they only have a few places to pick from, but they all have amazing menus that will get your mouth drooling. if you're in the mood for an upbeat, friendly dining experience you should stop by peter's pub. there's also briony's baked goods. her cherry pies are to die for. but if you're looking forward to a romantic night our with the darling, stop by beso and they'll cook you up something delicious and keep you in a romantical mood with the soft mucis and candle light.

the firefly inn used to be called carmella's bed and breakfast, but changed its name when carmella's daughter lorelei took over the family business. it is still a bed and breakfast, just a tad bit fancier.

there are many dark myths about this manor. it is said the owner went mad when his wife eloped with his brother and so he hunted them both down and dragged them back, torturing and killing them slowly. in the dead of night you can still hear the terror filled shrieks of the woman. The mad man screaming that he loved her... and then the night goes silent once more...
